No Easy Task

Today I let the dogs run around the backyard for awhile and planned to take some action shots of them playing. For the 3 seconds I turned my back to get something Moby managed to pee all over my camera case! Luckily the camera itself was spared but I will be purchasing a new case tomorrow, needless to say. After that he decided to dig a big hole in the garden and stick his face as deep in it as he could resulting in a face of dirty rolls. Meanwhile Lola managed to completely soil her back legs....so it magically became BATH NIGHT! Normally we give them a bath one at a time but I was on my own tonight and couldn't bare to go through the ordeal twice so I decided to do a double bath session. They were surprisingly well behaved and somehow I managed to get through it unscathed.

Waiting to get started, dirty feet all over the place.

Not happy to be waiting to get out of the shower. It was at this point I realized I would have to dry both of them off and get them down to our level of the house while wet and crazy!

Deep in Thought

Moby tends to be very serious and only when presented with a tasty treat or while rough housing with Lola does he really get excited and crazy. Normally he is calm and relatively happy. He watches Lola alot and I wish I could hear what goes on in that little head of his. He keep an eye on her and doesn't hesitate to put her in line when she gets over exited.

A Hint of Fall

With a slight break in the weather, the dogs have been able to enjoy the outdoors again. Today was only in the 70s so we took advantage playing in the backkyard for awhile before a long walk. The heat has been rough for the dogs since they have trouble breathing with the pushing in noses. We all can't wait for the fall!

Stretched Out

Typically after a good run around the backyard the pups are pretty wiped out and come in for a nice nap. Lola usually finds a spot to stretch out her tired legs and relax.

Moby doesn't even make it in the house before he's pooped some days.

Such a goofy girl

Lola tends to provide endless laughs since she is such a playful goofball. I found this picture of her chewing on a very large bones stretched out awkwardly across one of her beds. It looks more like she collapses rather than set herself up like this.

The first time I tried to feed Lola a frozen carrot as a treat she mostly gummed it, shreded it alittle bit and then spit it out all over herself.

Meeting the Pups

Above are pics from their very first day home. I had trouble finding a picture of Moby alone since Lola harassed him every second on his existence for the first few weeks.

We got both Moby and Lola from the same local breeder, but both were listed on www.puppyfind.com before we found them. Below are the pics from the internet.
