Nothing to do but Sleep

With the temperatures once again in the low 20s the pups continue their exile in the house. We did take them out for a quick walk just to get some air but its definitely not playing out in the yard weather. As a result the dogs are sleeping more and then having periods of insane play.

Cold Spell

With the temperatures under 20 degrees during the day the pugs haven't been seeing much of the outside, and when they do we are sure to bundle them up. Moby is still not a happy camper about the sweater!!!!

Little Girl is 2 today!

The big day is almost here

Sunday is Lola's 2nd birthday and to celebrate we are having some friends over tonight for dinner. With the weather only in the 20's the past couple days it will be great for the pups to burn off some energy annoying everyone tonight. I won't be able to count how many times I say "no", and "get down" but I will try to go easy on them tonight since its a celebration. Above is pic of Lola from last years birthday party. Getting alittle gray

I noticed in the new Christmas shots I took of the dogs that Lola has considerably more gray and white hairs on her face than last year at this time. It's mostly on her chin, where has always has a touch of gray, but its quickly spreading. The first shot is below is Lola's baby grays, the next shot is from last year, and the last were just taken a week ago. I attribute the spread of the gray to her intense personality and sensitive little heart.

Wearing Sweatpants

I don't know whether most dogs have this, but both Lola and Moby have so much extra skin in general that sometimes when they are sitting down it looks like they are wearing sweatpants that are too big and all bunched up at their. It's absolutely adorable and this picture of Moby perfectly shows what I mean.

Sneak Peak at Christmas Card Pics!

With much effort and cheese I was able to get some great shots of the pups for Christmas cards this year. Here are just a few. And not to worry, we will still be visiting Santa for a picture with him. Last year I waited too long and the line was horrendous, I am determined this year to get it done early!

Cuddlers

Lola has recently decided that my sister's old teddy bear blanket is now hers. Here are some pics of her and Moby cuddling in together as we are getting ready to go out.

Tired Baby

I finally was able to take some pictures of Lola resting after a whole bunch of exercise. Usually when I am home she is non-stop moving, but once in awhile she will take a seat on the recliner and relax awhile.

Always Waiting

Whenever Daddy goes upstairs, for any reason, Moby sets himself up on the foot rest and patiently waits for his return because he's convinced he's going to get a yummy treat. Usually he does since its hard to resist that little mug!

Enjoying the Fall Weather

Now that the weather has finally decided its definitely fall, the pups have been enjoying the cooler weather and playing in the layer of leaves on the ground. Moby in particular loves to run through the piles of leaves along the sidewalk on our daily walks.

He Still Doesn't Like His Sweaters

Moby is typically a very happy boy until you put on his harness and collar, and especially when you put on a shirt or sweater. As soon as he has a shirt on he lays on the ground wherever you are to show you just how unhappy he is. Once he is outside he's perfectly happy again but his initial reaction to wearing anything is absolute misery. Hopefully he gets used to it because its going to be a long winter.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! This year we reused the costumes from last year but they are still adorable. I was surprised how well behaved both Lola and Moby were while we were taking pictures. We took a long walk this afternoon and the puggies were able to run free through the leaves.

Tired Puppies

The pups were pooped today after a nice long walk. Here are just a few pics of them relaxing and heading off to a nap.

Moby Binks Just Loves Pizza!

Moby rarely gets crazy about things like a dog parking or an animal on the tv, but the one thing that always gets him excited is food...especially pizza. We make sure to never leave plates within his little reach on tables because he will work for hours for a piece of crust. Tonight we felt bad for him and decided to let him have some fun.
